Supports production planning, demand management, inventory control, scheduling, material availability, capacity planning, and coordination between manufacturing and supply chain teams.
POSITION SUMMARYA Production Planner supports the operational workflow of the plant by converting the monthly production plan into daily and weekly scheduled based on incoming sales orders vs. monthly forecast. This role works collaboratively across the organization while prioritizing production and inbound components. Located at our Florence, Kentucky site, this role reports to the Planning Manager and works with other Production Planners and Buyers.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESA Production Planner is responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Collaborates with corporate Planners to publish weekly and daily fill schedule with priority list for Florence Plant based on incoming sales and replenishment orders
- Partners with product marketing management, product support and master data teams to ensure current Florence Bills of Materials for finished goods
- Prioritizes inbound packaging components with Plant Buyer(s) based on capacity constraints at suppliers and manufacturing locations
- Maintains sufficient supply of material for blending needs
- Works closely with Plant Buyer(s) ensure raw materials are available on a timely basis and inventories are controlled appropriately to avoid SMOG
- Collaborates with other departments including Customer Service and Logistics to ensure customer needs are met, including preparation of sample orders (packaging materials)
- Completes SAP downloads including
- Reconciles/corrects discrepancies vs. daily production,
- Reports accurate reject/rework properly
- Reports daily consumptions
- Prepares & prioritizes daily production schedule for blending and filling utilizing monthly schedule & new order information
- Participates in periodic raw and finished goods material inventories
- Maintains production-related records and ensures the confidentiality of all data
POSITION REQUIREMENTS- High School diploma
- At least 1 year of related work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP
- Highly Preferred
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or business related degree
- Proficiency with Tableau

The expected compensation range for this position is between $70,250.00 and $103,026.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
