Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage scheduling reviews in the absence of the primary supervisor.
  • Attend meetings to support the Long Range Planning Supervisor.
  • Assign work responsibilities as required during supervisory absence.
  • Fill in for supervisors as needed, ensuring continuity in operations.
  • Assisting in maintaining the work control process for planning activities.

Full Job Description
EDUCATION
  • Associates degree in technical field. (Required)
  • Other: Without degree, graduate of a journeyman apprentice training program, equivalent military training, or 3 years' experience in nuclear construction start-up or maintenance. (Required)


EXPERIENCE
  • 14 Years + experience related to maintenance and/or maintenance planning duties, and may include craft, craft supervision, planning, or engineering. Equivalent military related experience (e.g., U. S. Navy Nuclear Power Program) is acceptable. (Required)
  • Certified at STP as a Maintenance Planner and Maintenance Planning Mentor (Mentoring activities in Qual King).
  • Assigned to and working in the Long-Range Planning Dept. at STP since this is a closed posting for Lead/Head Planners in Planning Central.


LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
  • NONE


OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Fill in for supervisor when needed. This includes all meetings and performing schedule reviews and assigning work as required.
  • Attend meetings and perform schedule reviews as required to assist Long Range Planning Supervisor as needed.


SPECIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access.
  • Certified at STP as a Maintenance Planner.
  • Certified at STP as a Maintenance Planner Mentor (Mentor Activities in Qual King).
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft word, Microsoft TEAMS, Editing PDFs, and in the work control process (WCG-0001, 2, and 3 knowledge)


WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Same as normal but will require temporarily filling in for planning supervision when they are unavailable.
  • Assisting with scheduling reviews and attending meetings as needed to act as work control planning representative
