Qualifications

• Associate Degree in drafting technology or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 3-5 years of engineering/design experience, particularly in piping for HVAC or Industrial systems
• Knowledge of piping specification engineering and pipe support experience is advantageous
• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, and AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit or similar piping software is beneficial
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (less than 5% travel)
• Project management skills in scheduling, budgeting, and material coordination are preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project and material handling from manufacturing to installation
• Check drawings and bill of materials for compliance with VDC standards
• Assist with projects transferred to the Global Design Center and participate in coordination meetings
• Enforce VDC PM Division procedures and policies
• Prepare piping layout and isometric drawings along with complete bills of materials in Revit or other software
• Conduct project reviews, maintain customer contact, and manage job control functions
• Update project leads on status and assist with project closeout processes
