Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor crew with a focus on safety and documentation
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, and bend pipes, valves, and fittings
  • Assemble and install piping according to blueprints
  • Perform physically demanding tasks in challenging positions
  • Utilize testing equipment to identify leaks and troubleshoot issues
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Assist with other related duties as needed

Pipefitter Foreperson

To work at our Air Products Field Project in Edmonton, AB.
  • SALARY: $59.80
  • DSP SALARY: $82.95
  • BENEFITS: 3% Pension & 3% RRSP + CLAC Benefits
  • HOURS PER DAY: 10 Mon - Thurs, 8 Friday
  • SHIFT: 5&2
  • START DATE: ASAP
  • PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)
  • DURATION: 6+ Months

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise crew, mentorship, completion of documentation and safety paperwork
  • Demonstrates knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving and bending of pipes, valves and fittings
  • Assembles and installs piping sections according to blueprints and job specifications
  • Performs physically demanding tasks such as cutting openings for pipe while standing for extended periods of time and securing pipe in hard to reach areas
  • Uses testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors
  • Read and interpret drawings and blue prints
  • May perform other related duties as assigned


Requirements:
  • Must have 3 years minimum in a supervisory role
  • Must have a valid Journeyperson or Apprenticeship Pipefitting ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
  • Must have experience working at heights
  • Must be willing to attend safety training (paid by WorleyCord): CSTS, WHMIS2015, ESC EWP, ESC Fall Protection,
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal
  • Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
