Full Job Description
IU Health Arnett Physicians has a full-time employment opportunity for a Medical Physicist to join their established Radiation Oncology clinic located in Lafayette, Indiana.

Employment opportunity Details:
  • Full-Time, Out-patient
  • Days (Mon-Fri) with no call responsibilities however the candidate must have ability to work occasional weekend for QA work
  • Possible to work remotely one day a week.
  • Strong collaboration with physicians, therapists, Advanced Practice Providers and clinical staff

Our team includes 2 MDs, 1 FNP-BC, 2 full-time physicists (this posting for one of the vacant positions), 2 PRN Physicists, 3 full-time remote dosimetrists, and 7 Radiation Therapists.

Equipment/platforms: 2 TrueBeam linacs with HyperArc, 4D CBCT, iCBCT, and Identify each. One TrueBeam also has Calypso. GE 4D CT with RGSC, Bravos HDR (SAVI, GYN, skin applicators), Eclipse/ARIA, RadCalc, 3D-printed bolus, SNC Machine, SRS Mapcheck, SNC Dynamic Platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • This position provides a full range of physics services to Radiation Therapy, involving, but not limited to, calibration, dosimetry, treatment planning, Quality Assurance, research and development.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Requires board certification by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiological Physics.
