Willis Knighton Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join our dedicated inpatient team at Willis Knighton North in Shreveport, LA. This role delivers comprehensive, high-quality care to patients within a collaborative, physician-led environment.
Schedule and Coverage- Rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off.
- Team Structure: Physician rotation model.
- Shifts: In-house floor management and admissions
Compensation Structure- Competitive Shift + wRVU compensation on both day and night shifts.

Clinical Facilities- Unit Size: 300-bed dedicated inpatient unit.
- Environment: Modern community health system with robust subspecialty support.
Key Responsibilities- Manage inpatient admissions, daily rounds, and discharges.
- Provide expert consultations for emergency department cases.
- Coordinate care plans with primary care physicians and specialists.
- Stabilize and prepare patients requiring transfer to intensive care.
- Lead resuscitation or rapid response protocols if activated.
Qualifications- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Successful completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine.
- Eligibility for an unrestricted Louisiana medical license.
- Active Federal DEA registration.
