What We're Looking For:- Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
- Active state medical license
- 2 years of post-residency clinical experience, ideally in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting
- Experience treating patients across all age groups
- Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers
Your Role:As a Physician at Mercy-GoHealth, you'll independently provide a wide range of clinical services, including:
- Examining and treating patients with acute conditions
- Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests
- Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
- Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations
- Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow-up care
- Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support
- Working 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting
