Job DescriptionNorthwestern Medicine is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our growing Behavioral Health team in Palos Heights, IL. This role focuses on providing high-quality outpatient psychiatric care to an adult patient population in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Position Highlights:- Join a team of 11 established and well-respected physicians
- Conduct new psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits for adult patients
- Develop and manage treatment plans, including medication management
- Full-time, 36 patient-facing hours per week
- Monday-Friday clinic schedule
- Outpatient clinic at Orland Park and Inpatient privileges at NM Palos Hospital
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient centered care
- Support program development and expansion of advanced behavioral health treatment modalities
- System-wide Epic EMR
Qualifications- MD or DO with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
- Commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative practice
