Responsibilities include:- Provide high-quality, compassionate pediatric care in an outpatient clinic setting
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions in children
- Build strong connections with patients and families, fostering a supportive environment
- Participate in rotating on-call duties as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including subspecialists, nursing staff, and on-call triage
- Ensure patient care is aligned with best practices and medical guidelines
- Engage in continuing medical education and professional development
Qualifications- Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatrics (if board-eligible, certification must be obtained within 2 years of residency completion)
- Must possess a valid Virginia medical license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care
- Excellent rapport with children and families
