JOB SUMMARY
The Family Medicine Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to individuals of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide variety of acute and chronic health conditions, with a strong emphasis on preventive care, wellness, and patient education. The physician works closely with interdisciplinary care teams and refers patients to specialists when necessary, supporting continuity and quality of care across the healthcare system.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans for patients of all ages
• Provide acute, chronic, and preventive care including immunizations, health screenings, and wellness counseling
• Prescribe and administer medications, interpret diagnostic tests, and recommend appropriate follow-up care
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to coordinate care and make specialist referrals as needed
• Educate patients and families on health management, lifestyle modification, and disease prevention
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support population health management strategies
• Remain up to date with medical best practices, evidence-based guidelines, and regulatory requirements
• Provide coverage for urgent care and participate in on-call rotation, as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Medical Director or clinic leadership
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
(LICENSURES AND CERTIFICATIONS)
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine
• Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine
• Practicing physician in a clinic or urgent care setting, with supervision experience.
• Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
• Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred
