Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited nursing school or ARC-PA accredited PA program.
• Current state license for nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Possession of a National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• 2-4 years of clinical work experience in a relevant field.
• Compassionate and personable with strong communication abilities.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Take initial patient histories and perform physical examinations.
• Review patients' medical diagnoses, prognoses, medications, and clinical courses.
• Document and communicate the plan of care, ensuring patient screening and preparation.
• Perform daily patient rounds to monitor progress and address concerns.
• Write orders for medications, lab work, and diagnostic tests.
• Interpret laboratory and test results accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and care providers for optimal patient care.
• Provide health education and counseling to patients.
• Work independently and manage an assigned caseload effectively.
