WHAT WE NEED:
Ideal candidate will have 1 - 2 years of hematology-oncology or inpatient setting experience. The candidate will have a focus on clinical excellence and patient experience/satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills with a desire to invest in the community, building long-lasting relationships with patients and their families.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
Flexible full-time schedule
Rounding is arranged collaboratively with physician
Average inpatient volume: 5 - 10 patients per day
Innovative new clinical trials program
Clinical Care/Office Visits
Medication Management
Handle narcotic prescribing by guidelines
Process routine and specialty medication refills
Monitor for adherence, side effects, and safety
Administrative & In-Basket
Manage EMR in-basket (labs, messages, refills, results) in a timely manner
Coordinate care and ensure appropriate follow-up
Insurance & Authorizations
Coverage & Team Support
Provide provider coverage during physician absence (e.g., vacations)
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to maintain continuity of care
