POSITION SUMMARY

Columbus Radiology Corporation (CRC), a Radiology Partners practice, is seeking a motivated General and Interventional Radiology Advanced Practice Provider for Youngstown, OH. This hospital-based position is procedurally oriented, focusing on routine radiology procedures in a supportive and collaborative environment.
  • Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm
  • 4 weeks of PTO; 2500 annual CME allowance + 3 CME days
  • Primary role is to be physician extender/substitute for minor procedures
  • Perform Fluoroscopy procedures
  • Assist in the performance of direct patient care services, including inpatient consults and inpatient rounding
  • Schedule patients for procedures including pre-authorizations, working with other facilities to coordinate procedures as needed, processing orders, sending reports back to referring doctors
  • Perform physical examinations, determine medical histories, diagnose and treat illnesses and/or injuries
  • Develop and implement patient management plans and record progress notes
  • Perform history and physical examinations of radiology patients
  • Field phone calls from patients, referring physicians, nurses and other health care professionals regarding patients to identify potential areas of concern in the medical management of the patients
  • Educate patients on their medical care

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Current license and certificate of authority to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Ohio required
  • Current Ohio Radiology Technologist certification preferred and considered a plus.
  • BLS certification required, ACLS certification desired


COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $130,000-$140,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
