The Opportunity

Live and work in THE LAND OF ENCHANTMENT. CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center is located at the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in beautiful Santa Fe, NM. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in hematology-oncology to join our Regional Cancer Center team. This is a new position created to meet the growing demand for services and to further strengthen our mission of providing excellence in cancer care for Northern New Mexico.

The Position

This position is clinic-based with a blend of solid tumor and hematology oncology, while also providing support for a broad medical oncology patient population. You will have the opportunity to work either a 4X10 or 5X8 work week schedule.

Hours of operation for the Cancer Center are 8-5 M-F. You can expect to see approximately 10-12 patients per day and must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in patient care and clinical outcomes. There is NO CALL obligation with this position.

Preference will be given to applicants with general medical oncology and hematology oncology care experience; however, we are prepared to train the most suitable candidate. Full-time availability is desired, though consideration will be given to those seeking slightly reduced hours.

Requirements
• NM State Licensure or ability to obtain
• Certification as a NP required
• Two or more years of experience in hematology-oncology patient management
