Physician Assistants provide medical, surgical and cosmetic care to ensure the highest standard of patient care, independently practicing under the supervision of a board-certified dermatologist.
Candidates must hold an active Georgia (GA) license, with a minimum of 2-3 years of general dermatology experience AND a minimum of 1-2 years of dermatologic surgical experience. Mohs experience is a plus. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide excellent patient care per company and regulatory requirements under the direct supervision of a board-certified dermatologist (supervising physician).
- Ensure patient treatment is monitored and coordinated in alignment with the organization's clinical policies and guidelines.
- Confirm that medical record documentation meets established clinical quality and compliance standards.
- Instruct and counsel patients by describing therapeutic regimens. Promote wellness and health maintenance. Adhere to Medical Board requirements for supervision.
- Enhance the effectiveness of supervising physicians by identifying short-term and long-term patient care issues. Provide relevant information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommends options and courses of action. Implements physician directives.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations. Protect patients and employees by following infection-control policies and protocols.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on necessary actions.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
- Support the healthcare team by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities. Accomplish related tasks as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent, with active certification.
- 2-3 years of experience working as a licensed Physician Assistant.

Requirements
Physical Requirements: Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 lbs). Tasks may also involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation.
Work Environment: Essential functions are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
