Physician Assistant - AMG Ortho Group

Description:

Education Requirements: Graduate of a school for Physician Assistant. Licensed by the Georgia Composite Medical Board as a Physician Assistant.

Experience: Entry Level

Required Skills: Must possess excellent clinical skills as a Physician Assistant.

Ability to assist in surgical procedures and provide individualized care in the pre and post operative periods as well.

Ability to explain the details of surgical conditions, medications and other topics related to helping patients take care of themselves. Provide quality care that results in a high level of patient satisfaction.

Physical Demands: Good physical and mental health. Must be able to lift, bend, pull and push, using good body mechanics, without limitations. Must possess visual acuity with corrective lenses to read printed material and hearing ability to ask and answer pertinent questions and relay information. Ability to work under supervision or independently as directed by the situation. Must be able to work under stressful conditions.

Supervises: Works in conjunction with medical assistants, LPN's, RN's in the clinic and surgical and hospital staff.

Supervised By: Clinically: Physician Administratively: Practice Administrator
