We have an immediate opportunity for a talented, Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) Engineer with Magnetron Sputter tool experience to join our 3D Integration and Imaging Sensors group - a world leader in Advanced Packaging and Materials Research and Development. What You Will Do:- Supporting fabrication operations by providing technical expertise in PVD processes for the 200mm product line
- Magnetron Sputter deposition techniques
- Experience with metal and dielectric thin films
- Taking ownership and responsibility for maintaining/optimizing all Deposition tools (4 tools and growth)
- New Tool/Process Development by researching new suppliers/technologies for improving production, quality, and throughput - drive selection / install / qualification of deposition platforms
- Maintaining current processes, optimizing existing processes, and training in safe / efficient operations of the deposition process cell
- Maintain statistical process controls process optimization; troubleshoot and resolve issues supporting the manufacturing process and improve process yields
- In-Fab Collaboration required by working with a team of technicians and engineers in an ISO-Class 5 wafer fabrication clean room
- Work with R&D teams to develop creative solutions / approaches for new devices designs and advanced packaging architectures
Qualifications You Must Have: - Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience in thin film deposition techniques and/or Magnetron sputtering
Qualifications We Prefer:- Experience with sustaining existing deposition processes to meet product specifications & manufacturing process flows, maintaining operating instructions for process and equipment
- Deep knowledge of vacuum systems including trouble shooting
- Demonstrated ability of solving technical problems, project ownership, meeting deadlines, and multitasking
- Thorough sense of process / tool ownership, drive, and dedication to continuous improvement
- Experience showing ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve processes
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including technical writing for summarizing data and findings, writing process and equipment specifications and work instructions
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
