Description

Connect Pediatrics is looking for a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in the Coppell, Texas area. As a part of our team, you will play a vital role in collaboratively ensuring that pediatric patients receive comprehensive and well-coordinated care in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities:
  • Implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders.
  • Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
  • Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
  • Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with PT Supervisor/team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.

Requirements

MUST have:
  • A valid, active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Texas
  • Current BLS/CPR License
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automotive insurance
  • Pediatric experience is preferred but not required


Salary Description

$40.00 to $50.00 per visit
