Pay Range: $40.00-$50.00 per hour, based on experience
Job OverviewWe are seeking a
Physical Therapist to join an outpatient therapy team in
Winterset, Iowa.
This position is ideal for a Physical Therapist who enjoys patient-focused care, flexible scheduling, and working in a supportive outpatient clinic environment. The team provides individualized therapy services and focuses on helping patients improve mobility, function, strength, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care.
- Provide direct physical therapy treatment to a general outpatient rehab caseload.
- Complete patient assessments, care planning, documentation, and progress updates.
- Use independent clinical judgment to guide treatment and adjust care plans as needed.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and families on treatment goals, home programs, and functional progress.
- Participate in the clinical team process.
- Support clinical program development.
- Supervise PTAs, aides, technicians, students, or other clinical staff as needed.
Qualifications- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Active Iowa Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
- Two years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Good time management, organization, and analytical skills.
