Compensation

Salary Range: $49.07 - $72.26 per hour

 

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Staff Physical Therapist provides evaluation and treatment to a variety of complex in and outpatient diagnoses. Supervises daily professional patient related activities of Physical Therapist Assistant and Physical Therapy Aides. Communicates Physical Therapy goals and patient information to physician, hospital staff, and agents of reimbursement.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor27s Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current CA Physical Therapy license issued by the Physical Therapy Board.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred:

  • Master27s Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
  • One (1) year of professional experience with both in and outpatient areas of an acute care hospital preferred, including pre-graduate clinical internships.
  • Previous Skilled Nursing experience (OVCH)
  • Additional Board Specialty Certification(s) by the APTA
