$40.00 - $46.00/hour, based on experience
Full-Time | Weekend and holiday rotations include: 1 weekend day per month, 1 summer holiday and 1 winter holiday
Delivering Solutions that Matter:- Provide exceptional physical therapy services to a diverse resident population, including individuals receiving short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and specialized care for MS, ALS, and other progressive neurological conditions and ventilator dependency.
- Perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to maximize residents' mobility, function, and quality of life.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to support rehabilitation goals, coordinate care, and ensure safe, effective discharge planning and referrals.
- Utilize or develop expertise in high-tech assistive technology and adaptive equipment to enhance resident independence; opportunities are available for Physical Therapists interested in becoming a Certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP).
Qualifications for Success:- Master or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current, valid Massachusetts Physical Therapist (PT) license.
- Prior experience with high-tech assistive technologies preferred
- ATP certification through RESNA or interest in obtaining ATP certification
- Strong clinical assessment and patient evaluation skills.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written
