Qualifications

• California Physical Therapy (DPT) license required
• Pediatric experience necessary; Early Intervention experience preferred
• Experience in home-based service delivery preferred
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills essential
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide physical therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model
• Follow each child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) to help achieve specific developmental goals
• Utilize a family-centered coaching approach to build caregiver skills and confidence
• Provide services in natural environments, including homes, daycare centers, and community settings
• Perform re-assessments and prepare progress reports, typically on a bi-annual basis
• Maintain confidentiality in line with HIPAA and state/federal regulations
