Description
Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Full TimeAdvanced Health Care of Aurora is seeking a compassionate, dependable Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our short-term rehab team full time.
This is a great opportunity for a therapy professional who wants meaningful work, a strong team, and the chance to make a real difference for short-term rehab patients. This full-time role is scheduled for 8-hour day shifts.

Compensation: Depending on which position (PT or PTA) and experience, the hourly rate is between 35-50 per hour).

Requirements
- Current Colorado PT or PTA license, depending on the role
- Strong communication and patient-centered care skills
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to regular attendance
- Skilled nursing or rehab experience preferred, but not required
Physical Requirements: - Work performed in a medical setting due to the need to work directly with residents.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the facility for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting of therapy equipment and assisting residents.
- Manual dexterity and coordination for performing therapeutic exercises, manipulating therapy tools, and conducting assessments.
- Strength and endurance to assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
- Visual acuity and auditory perception to observe and assess resident movements and communicate effectively with residents and team members.
- Stamina and physical resilience to handle the demands of providing therapy services to multiple residents throughout the day.
- Compliance with infection control protocols and safety precautions to minimize the risk of injury or illness to oneself and others.
- Flexibility to adapt to various environmental conditions and accommodate the physical needs of residents with diverse mobility levels and functional abilities.
- Ability to operate therapy equipment and assistive devices safely and effectively, following proper training and protocols.
- Maintain regular attendance and timeliness as set forth within the work schedule designated by the department supervisor/manager.
- Job requires accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.
- The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without "giving out" or fatiguing.
Salary Description
$30-$50 per hour
