You'll help residents overcome movement challenges following illness, injury, or a hospital stay, with care focused on their individual recovery goals.
What You'll Do- Assess residents' functional abilities and establish measurable therapy goals
- Design treatment plans addressing mobility, strength, and balance
- Provide gait training, transfer practice, and therapeutic exercises
- Educate residents and caregivers on safe movement strategies
- Monitor progress, document care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
