Essential Accountabilities for the Physical Therapist- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations on assigned patients.
- Design individualized treatment plans and materials to match the patient's unique learning profile.
- Provide therapy according to the treatment plan while monitoring progress and adjusting therapy.
- Document, monitor, and analyze the patient's progress and effects of treatment.
- Communicate, educate, and provide family training on the patient's individualized treatment plans.
- Consult and collaborate with family and other staff or supports (i.e., physician, school district, other therapies).
- Create and submit all reporting, including appropriate recommendations ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee the treatment provided by physical therapist assistants (PTAs) according to established licensing laws, state regulations, and PT practice standards.
Requirements
- Master's/Doctor's degree from an accredited college or university program of Physical Therapy.
- Current license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Ohio.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Completed FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire)
- Current Ohio Department of Education Certification (can be completed upon hire)
- Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by the governing body.
- Positive and goal-oriented, willing to accept the challenge of new assignments and be able to work well with others.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices.
- Must be able to handle stressful situations.

Salary Description
$35.00-$46.00/hour
