Full Job Description
Full-Time Physical Therapist

A Physical Therapist opening is available in Independence, Missouri for a clinician who wants a stable weekday schedule and a manageable patient flow.

This position gives you the opportunity to help patients improve strength, movement, balance, flexibility, and daily function. You will work closely with patients from evaluation through discharge, helping them understand their plan of care and stay engaged in their recovery.

Position Details

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Patient Volume: 1-2 patients an hour

Compensation:
$65K-$70K for new graduates
$80K-$90K for experienced Physical Therapists, depending on years of experience

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments
  • Develop treatment plans that address patient goals, limitations, and recovery needs
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility work, balance activities, and strengthening programs
  • Use appropriate manual therapy techniques and clinical interventions
  • Teach patients how to safely continue progress outside of scheduled sessions
  • Monitor outcomes and make updates to the plan of care as needed
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals when appropriate

Requirements
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
  • Active or eligible Missouri Physical Therapist license
  • New graduates are welcome
  • Previous clinical experience preferred for higher salary consideration
  • Strong documentation, communication, and patient education skills
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and care
