Director of Physical Therapy About the PositionWe are seeking a Director of Physical Therapy for an outpatient physical therapy office in Warrenton, VA. This is a full-time role with annual compensation of
$90,000-$120,000 and a
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule.
This position is centered on clinical leadership, patient outcomes, and smooth clinic operations. The Director of Physical Therapy will help patients receive clear treatment plans and consistent follow-through while also supporting the staff responsible for delivering that care.
Primary Responsibilities- Oversee outpatient physical therapy operations and clinical service delivery
- Perform patient evaluations and establish treatment goals
- Provide direct treatment for post-surgical recovery, orthopedic concerns, pain, and movement limitations
- Guide staff with care progression, documentation, and patient communication
- Track outcomes and assist with treatment plan updates
- Review charts for completeness, compliance, and clinical quality
- Support scheduling flow, provider coordination, and daily clinic organization
- Help maintain a respectful, professional, and efficient care setting
Requirements- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients, staff, and providers
