Your Role as a Home Care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):As a
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with
VRNS, you'll provide skilled physical therapy services directly in patients' homes under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You'll work closely with patients, caregivers, and their care teams to improve mobility, strength, functional independence, and quality of life. If you're looking for a therapy position that combines

Your responsibilities may include:- Providing skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Providing transfer training and instruction in safe mobility techniques
- Educating patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility strategies, and safety techniques
- Monitoring patient progress and reporting changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Collaborating with Physical Therapists, nurses, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, physicians, and other members of the care team
- Completing accurate and timely electronic documentation

Requirements
Need to Have:- Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical nursing experience
- Afternoon availability
Nice to Have:- Previous home care experience
- Monday-Friday availability
- Weekend availability
