Description

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Fairlawn Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia - Gresham, OR

*** Full-Time $38-45/hour (depending on experience)***

Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, you'll support patients recovering from injury or illness by implementing treatment plans that promote mobility, strength, and pain relief.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting residents with ambulation and physical mobility.
  • Implementing therapy plans involving manual exercises, strength training, and the use of assistive devices.
  • Monitoring patient progress and reporting to the Physical Therapist.
  • Educating and encouraging residents in daily living activities and recovery routines.
  • Documenting care accurately and timely in-patient records.
  • Promoting safety, cleanliness, and adherence to infection control protocols.
  • Supporting continuity of care and the therapy team's treatment goals.
  • Maintaining legal, regulatory, and accreditation compliance.
  • Staying current with best practices through continued education and training.
