Full Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Licensed Physical Rehabilitation Therapist (Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Chiropractor) to work as part of an interdisciplinary team to evaluate and treat patients in our Sacramento Clinic. Our team consists of physical therapist, trainer, Cognitive Behavioral Therapists, and MDs and APPs. We use an educationally based treatment model to teach patients transferable skills for managing chronic pain conditions and post concussive syndromes. The patient population is primarily adult orthopedic and chronic pain patients.

*This is an onsite role in San Diego.

What you will do:

  • Evaluation and treatment of individual patients.
  • Combine patient education, hands on care and exercise instruction in comprehensive 60-minute visits..
  • Treatment in group and individual settings
  • Deliver pain neuroscience education to individual patients and groups.
  • Opportunities to collaborate with the medical and psychology teams while co-treating patients.
  • Deliver functional, goal-oriented rehabilitation within an interdisciplinary biopsychosocial framework.
  • Treat patients with persistent pain, post-concussion syndrome, and complex functional limitations.
  • Integrate physical rehabilitation with education, pacing strategies, graded exposure, and nervous system informed care.
  • Participate in group and individual treatment sessions, including functional training, work simulation, and movement-based interventions.
  • Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to align treatment plans and support whole-person recovery.
  • Contribute to outcomes tracking, clinical discussions, and continuous program improvement.
  • Build strong therapeutic relationships that empower patients and restore confidence in movement and life roles
  • A solid understanding of the workers' compensation system (training provided) is essential to effectively guide patients through the process and support them throughout their recovery journey. This role may involve providing education and assistance in both individual and group settings.
  • Assumes other responsibilities as appropriate to the position and organizational needs


Qualifications:

  • Valid California License to practice (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapist, Chiropractor)
  • Leadership experience is a plus
  • Desire to grow into a leadership position is a plus
  • Strong orthopedic assessment skills
  • Knowledge of pain neuroscience is a plus
  • Vestibular rehab experience is a plus
  • Oculomotor rehab experience is a plus
  • Ability to educate patients with chronic pain conditions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously.
  • Working knowledge of myofascial release techniques and manual therapy skills is a plus.
  • Experience with EMR documentation preferred but will train.
  • Ability to establish rapport with patients, families, professionals, and co-workers.
  • Able to work with patients and equipment using sound judgment.
  • An attitude of excellence in providing quality patient care.
  • Experience in chronic pain, concussion, neuro, ortho, or functional restoration is a plus
  • Experience in workers compensation is a plus
  • We will provide training for new graduates.


Compensation Range:

$100,000.00 to $128,000 Annually

All compensation ranges are posted based on internal equity, job requirements, experience, and geographical locations.
