About the Role:As Pharmacy Operations Manager, you'll lead, motivate and support the pharmacy team to dispense prescriptions in a mail-order pharmacy environment to our patients. You will oversee our pharmacy tech team, including hiring, scheduling, and day-to-day operational task oversight. This role is based on-site in our Gilbert, Arizona facility.The hours for this shift are Wed-Sat 6:30am-5:00pm. If this shift does not align with your availability, please take a look at the other shifts we are currently hiring for.
You Will:- Oversee all pharmacist tech workflow and operations within the front-end pharmacy
- Lead one-on-ones and pharmacy team huddles with pharmacist techs to promote and achieve high levels of performance
- Practice all state and federal pharmacy regulations for the ordering, handling, and management of prescriptions and/or prescription drug products
- Oversee, support and develop your leads and pharmacist techs within initiatives designed to drive scalability and efficiency within the pharmacy from both a systems and workflow perspective
- Execute high level company and pharmacy strategies
- Analyze data in key areas related to performance, safety, error tracking and trend data
- Coordinate new process development and their implementation plan
- Collaborate on the development and review of standard operating procedures
- Work closely with General Manager and Ops leaders to ensure the pharmacists and tech team work in lock-step with each other and the needs of the business
- Follow all state and pharmacy regulations and rules as designated by the State of Pharmacy and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
- Maintain and promote all security and privacy rules regarding the use and handling of protected health information (PHI) in compliance with federal and state HIPAA regulations
- Update and maintain patient profile records as necessary according to state pharmacy regulations
- Promote and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment as mandated by the FDA's rules and regulations
- Provide a world class pharmacy experience for every one of our patients
- Contact and engage with potential candidates
- Perform regular pharmacist and pharmacist tech duties such as drug utilization reviews, medication label checks, patient counseling, drug information review as needed
- Lead employer-directed pharmacy technician education programs
- Serve as a member on the pharmacy quality team
- As part of this role you are expected to be or get licensed in multiple key states as required by the business
You Have:- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred) Required
- 5-7 years in a pharmacy supervisory role with experience managing licensed and registered pharmacy technicians Required
- Effective knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules and regulations related to the practice of pharmacy
- Ability to work flexible shift times
- Proficiency in English, verbal and written
- Proficiency in Windows based computer systems
- Ability to deliver and receive feedback and information effectively to individuals and groups
- Willingness to work in a team environment and promote company culture
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift over 30lbs safely and independently
- Mail Service/Mail Order Pharmacy Experience
- PharmD - Licensed Pharmacist Active Pharmacist License in pharmacy's home state, or willing to get licensed there Upon Hire Required

Conditions of Employment:
- This position will require working with Hazardous Drugs (HD) and would require that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) be worn for the length of working with these drugs. These items would include gloves, respiratory protection, gown and other items as required.
- This position requires medical approval to wear respiratory protection in the form of negative or positive pressure respirators, including N95, full face respirator, SCBA, or Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).
- Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking up to 50% of the time, standing up to 100% of the time, squatting and bending up to 20% of the time and lifting up to 80% of the time for up to a twelve hour shift. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Due to the risk of reproductive capability in handling or compounding certain Hazardous Drugs (HD) associates must be willing to confirm that they understand the potential risks (teratogenicity, carcinogenicity and reproductive effects) of handling hazardous drugs.
