OverviewVytlOne is currently recruiting for a Pharmacist to provide coverage at The Pharmacy at Conway Medical Center. This is a unique opportunity to practice outpatient pharmacy in a model that integrates the pharmacy into the care transition model. The Pharmacist will provide coverage for our two Pharmacists on a as needed basis.

No Nights or Weekends!ResponsibilitiesA successful candidate must demonstrate mastery of the following skills/traits: Attention to detail, multi-tasking, initiative to work independently as well as cooperatively on a high achieving team, ability to develop problem-based solutions when faced with unexpected challenges, availability to work any shift, an openness to and acceptance of constructive feedback, and a sincere desire for continuous professional growth.
- Reviews prescriptions issued by Physician, or other authorized prescriber to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed.
- Compounds medications, using standard formulas and processes such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, if applicable.
- Answers questions and provides information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
- Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.
- Enters data such as patient name, prescribed medication, and cost, to maintain pharmacy files, charge system, and inventory.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience.
- Current licenses in good standing to practice pharmacy in the state of South Carolina.
- Ability to supervise pharmacy staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care.
- A passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Computer experience mandatory. Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently.
