Responsibilities This opportunity is full-time at 40 hours per week, offers full-time benefits and a convenient schedule.
The Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling and teaching. The Pharmacist fills orders for medications, monitors patient's drug therapies and provides drug information. The pharmacist supervises and directs supportive staff. In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, a pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the Director of Pharmacy. Recognizes the signs and symptoms of stroke and calling a stroke alert overhead. Verbalizes stroke alert process. Maintains currency in stroke knowledge by completing the annual 1 hour online training.

Qualifications Current pharmacist license in the State of Florida.
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) required.
Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) preferred.
Experience in acute care setting required.
