Description

We are seeking a PRN Pharmacist to work:

  • September 11, 2026-September 25, 206 (Full-Time)
  • Every Tuesday
  • Additional shifts as needed to provide vacation and leave coverage.


Duties:

  • Prepares and dispenses medications in accordance with physician orders, pharmacy standards, and applicable state and federal laws.
  • Performs drug utilization reviews, verifies technician order entry and medication preparation, and identifies therapeutic incompatibilities, allergies, and other medication-related concerns.
  • Provides patient counseling and assists with medication-related questions and customer service concerns.
  • Oversees technician workflow and verifies prescription preparation, labeling, and packaging.
  • Maintains compliance with pharmacy regulations, controlled-substance requirements, safety procedures, and infection-control standards.
  • Assists with inventory management, including recalls, expired medications, and medication counts.
  • Collaborates with providers and pharmacy staff regarding dosing, formulary changes, therapeutic substitutions, and evidence-based medication interventions.
  • Maintains professional licensure and required pharmacy records and completes other duties as assigned.


Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
  • Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Licensed in the state of Missouri and Kansas
