Responsibilities for the Pharmacist:- Ensure the responsible use of medications and all aspects of pharmacy operations while effectively and efficiently maintaining compliance with all regulatory agencies and state boards of pharmacy.
- Help maintain policies and procedures for the procurement, storage, and dispensing of drugs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Oversee, track, and implement new Standard Operating Procedures to ensure compliance to current and updated accreditation standards (ACHC, URAC, NABP).
Key Requirements:- Must be a graduate of an ACPE accredited College or School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
- State of Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing
- Additional state pharmacist licenses highly preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of Third-Party adjudication and resolution
- Knowledge and understanding of related accreditation and performance standards
- Ability to communicate in a multi discipline environment across all business units
- Must exhibit excellent telephone, customer service and computer skills with the desire to represent the department in a professional and courteous manner
