Pay: $57.50 - $80.50 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Summary:The Oncology/Infusion Centralized Verification Pharmacist supports a system approach to safe, consistent, and high-quality oncology and infusion medication management across ambulatory infusion settings. This role contributes specialized pharmacy expertise to strengthen clinical decision-making, operational alignment, and the patient care experience.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
- State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
Preferred:- PGY2 residency in Oncology Pharmacy preferred; PGY1 residency with at least 1 year of oncology and/or infusion pharmacy experience, or 3 years of oncology and/or infusion pharmacy experience in lieu of residency, will also be considered.
- Experience with ambulatory infusion, oncology order verification, treatment plan review, and interdisciplinary collaboration is strongly preferred.

Clinical Pharmacist:
- Perform centralized clinical review and verification of oncology and infusion medication orders, including chemotherapy, biologics, supportive care, and other high-risk therapies.
- Assess treatment plans for appropriateness, including indication, dosing, scheduling, laboratory parameters, organ function, drug interactions, hypersensitivity risk, and alignment with evidence-based standards.
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, pharmacists, technicians, and operational teams to resolve order clarification needs and support timely, safe patient care.
- Apply organizational policies, regulatory requirements, treatment protocols, and medication safety standards to promote consistent practice across oncology and infusion locations.
- Serve as a clinical resource for oncology and infusion medication questions, workflow optimization, and process improvement efforts related to centralized verification.
