- Responsible for the local setup and maintenance of clinical software along with the implementation of new clinical packages/software patches.
- Analyzes and evaluates processes related to information flow and serves as a liaison between service lines concerning these processes to ensure appropriate and accurate data flow.
- Trains providers and other system users, on a continuous basis, to incorporate new technology into their daily practice, along with developing tools to enhance appropriate and accurate documentation and promotion of the importance of data validity and data security to all system users.
- Develops treatment protocols, standards of practice, and policies associated with, or that may be enhanced by, the Electronic Health Record (EHR) through collaboration with other health professionals and applications coordinators.
- Serves as an outpatient pharmacist providing on-site pharmaceutical support, such include, but not limited to: accurate filling and dispensing of prescription and over-the-counter medications, advise patients and nursing staff on dosage regimens, side effects and storage requirements; and interview patient/proxy to ascertain significant past and current medical and medication history.

Education - A doctoral degree in Pharmacy that is recognized by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
Licensure - Applicants must be licensed to practice pharmacy in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
Medical Requirements - Applicants must be able to distinguish basic colors.
In addition, to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
GS-12:Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Examples include:
Recommends new systems and processes to improve the pharmacy department operations; ensures that pharmaceutical related electronic and informatic systems comply with state and federal rules and regulations; compiles data and prepares complex administrative and management reports; serves as a liaison to the pharmacy department, and educates the pharmacy staff on new system functionalities and features.You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
