Job Purpose:
The Pharmacy Manager is expected to plan, direct, monitor and adjust pharmacy operations as required for goal attainment. This position requires a willingness to make decisions that will ensure patients receive proper prescriptions and services (and the right to receive consultation as required by federal law), while achieving department goals. Primary emphasis is providing effective supervisory assistance and ensuring that the standards for accuracy, productivity and customer relations are maintained. This position requires comprehensive knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical procedures. Requires the ability to resolve customer complaints in a prompt and confident manner. Frequent communication is required between all department employees along with consultation with the Director of Pharmacy.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active pharmacist license in good standing
- B.S. or PharmD from and ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy
- Covid-19 Vaccinated
- Nicotine Free

Essential Job Functions:
- Directly supervises all employees in the pharmacy department
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with CHNWF's policies and procedures to include but not limited to: interviews, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; and performance management
- Ensures the pharmacy complies with all state and federal laws, regulations and rules governing the practice of pharmacy
- Oversee inventory management for the pharmacy, OTC, and 340B
- Adhere to all CHNWF policies and procedures as well as HIPPA regulations
- Serve as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by proving information and support as necessary
- Other tasks as needed to support the ongoing functioning of the organization.
