Position OverviewEnsure appropriate dosing and verify compounded medications while upholding quality control and compliance according to Strive Pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
Key ResponsibilitiesJoin the forefront of healthcare excellence, where you'll be:
- Checking entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Performing calculations to ensure ingredients within a formula are measured and utilized properly
- Visually checking lots compounded in sterile and non-sterile labs
- Visually checking individual prescriptions to ensure color, consistency, and general appearance
- Answering and making clarification phone calls dedicated for pharmacists
- Counseling patients
- Offering guidance to providers regarding appropriate therapy and dosing for optimal individualized care
Required Qualifications- Minimum of Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Degree
- Active FL Pharmacist license
- Fulfillment experience in a retail setting or equivalent
Desired Skills- Experience in compounding
- Understanding of aseptic technique
- Familiar with USP guidelines
