The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time PERSONNEL SECURITY SPCIALIST (NH-0080-03) to work at Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC) at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 2026 Salary Range: $89,508.00 - $138,370.00/Year (includes locality)

The primary purpose of this position is to protect the AFSC Home and Staff Offices and Directorates (DP, DS, EN, HO, IG, IN, IP, JA, LG, PA, PK, SB, SE, and SW) from espionage, terrorism, and threats of unauthorized disclosure and/or compromise of information considered vital to mission interests, national defense or national security by serving as a security specialist, providing security program functions in support to the AFSC Home and Staff Offices and Directorates.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Expert knowledge of personnel security to plan and implement security programs in this area.

2. Knowledge of information and industrial security concepts, principles, and practices to collaborate with those specialists and produce converged policies and recommendations.

3. Knowledge of required security training concepts, programs, and procedures to develop security education programs, provide training, and assist in operating security programs.

4. Knowledge in analytical theories, processes, programs and practices to accomplish broad studies and make

well-supported recommendations.

5. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.

6. Ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines.

Additional Position Requirements:

1. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for the position.

2. May be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours.

3. May be required to travel away from the normal duty station for training or mission accomplishment.
