Full Job Description
The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Personal Lines HNW Account Executive to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Uniondale, NY. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities:
  • Explain coverages and types of policies, suggest specific coverage enhancements, and resolve general customer inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, their representatives and insurance company personnel.
  • Accurately and efficiently maintain electronic client account records and electronic file documentation.
  • Collaborate with producers to enhance client development and service.
  • Accept price and bind insurance within underwriting authority.
  • Assist with other accounts as needed.
  • Responsible for Quality Assurance on his/her accounts
  • Assures that coverage is always maintained and/or management notified if there are problems, such as potential coverage or pricing issues.
  • Make and receive calls from customers assisting them with their questions and resolving problems as appropriate.
  • Make and receive calls from customers to facilitate personal insurance quotes.
  • Manage policy maintenance (new, renewal, changes, binders, etc.) in a timely manner.
  • Bind coverage within binding authority.
  • Be familiar with rating and provide quotes to prospects and existing clients.
  • Ensure all quotes are documented and saved in Image Right.
  • Process all new business, renewal business, etc. in personal lines department in a timely manner.
  • Ensure use of the Image Right for processing endorsement requests, electronic mail, and suspense information.
  • Ensure strong knowledge of issuing Certificates.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Participate as a Team member in a fast-paced environment open to continuous improvement.
  • Be manual capable.
  • Familiar with NYS laws and regulations


Qualifications:
  • High School degree required.
  • Exceptional aptitude for customer service with a minimum of 5 years of Personal Lines Insurance industry experience required, including experience with personal lines HNW/VIP carriers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Upbeat attitude and strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Good time management and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to mentor or train as requested.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of financial and insurance products and services.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to effectively work on the telephone to obtain insurance information.
  • Ability to complete detailed paperwork.
  • Ability to collect the documents necessary to complete the insurance transaction.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of people.
  • Ability to follow through on tasks.
  • Proficiency AMS360 & Image Right desired.
  • Must have an active NYS Property & Casualty Insurance Agent/Broker's License
