Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in plaintiff-side personal injury.
• Experience managing discovery in Maryland state courts.
• Familiarity with Maryland Rules of Civil Procedure and e-filing requirements.
• Support trial preparation, including managing exhibits and creating trial binders.
• Comfortable using AI tools for drafting and research; willingness to learn if unfamiliar.
• Experience with Filevine or similar case management systems preferred.
• Strong written communication and drafting skills.
• Ability to handle multiple files under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in personal injury lawsuits focusing on auto accidents and premises liability.
• Manage and organize case files for mediation or arbitration preparations.
• Prepare and maintain trial documents, including exhibit lists and binders.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather case information.
• Assist with discovery processes, including document preparation and filing.
• Utilize technology and AI tools to streamline drafting and research tasks.
