Full Job Description
Perform the following ultrasound studies in an independent and professional manner. Complete OB ultrasound in all trimesters. Detailed first and second trimester US. Trans-vaginal US, Doppler flow (umbilical artery, MCA, Uterine artery), Amniotic Fluid Index, BPP, Fetal echo, portable study when needed, Provide guidance for invasive procedures. Perform study with Knowledge of pts diagnosis and history. Travel to satellite offices when needed Use proper cleaning protocols for all transducers and US machines Work with medical students, OB residents and US students to educate them in obstetrical ultrasound Help keep inventory of room stock, restock exam room and empty laundry at end of day. Experience Required 0-2 Years experience in high-risk obstetric ultrasounds Required 3-5 Years Preferred Possess knowledge of normal and abnormal fetal anatomy and GYN anatomy. Education Requirements Graduate of Ultrasound School. License/Certification Requirements Certification in OB/GYN Current ARDMS - American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
