Full Job Description
This People Partner role sits within the People team and is built around two distinct tracks. The first is a full strategic Business Partnership with our Commercial (Sales) and Finance orgs working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Financial Officer where you own the complete relationship: workforce planning, performance, coaching, and employee relations. The second is operational people partner for our entry level Clinical Operations and Customer Support teams, focusing on employee relations, Workday case management, exit survey execution, and enabling People Partners and leaders to move quickly with strong documentation and process consistency. Strategic leadership for the Clinical Operations org sits with a dedicated Business Partner on our team; this role owns the operational and ER layer for the entry level population.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and being the connective tissue between People strategy and day-to-day execution and who is ready to grow. We're actively building AI tooling to streamline the operational side of this work, and as that overhead reduces, the strategic scope of this role will expand (potentially to

Marketing, or Finance Organizational support).

Reports to: HR Director, Business Partner Team | Hybrid, New York, NY (Chelsea) (2-3 days/week in office preferred) | No travel required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Strategic Business Partnership - Commercial (Sales) & Finance Teams (~50%)
  • Serve as the dedicated People Partner to a Commercial (Sales) team & Finance team (*about 80 employees total)
  • Working directly with the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Financial Officer building a trusted, high-value relationship with leadership and the team
  • Provide full-spectrum People Partner support: workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, performance management, compensation guidance, and employee relations
  • Coach managers on performance conversations, team dynamics, and leading through change the team is small enough that your impact is immediate and visible 3 Connect with leadership to People Team COEs (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, L&D, People Ops) and ensure programs land in a way that actually works for this team 3 Use people data to surface insights on team health, retention, and performance and bring those proactively to leadership rather than waiting to be asked

Operational People Partner - Clinical Operations & Customer Support (~50%)
  • Own employee relations for entry-level roles across Clinical Operations and Customer Support (200 employees) the strategic BP relationship with this org's leadership sits with a dedicated partner on our team, but operational ER support is yours
  • Operationalize ER processes for this population with consistency and rigor: documentation, timelines, process adherence, and clear handoffs
  • Lead employee relations investigations in partnership with People Partners and Legal fact-finding, interviews, documentation, and resolution tracking conducted with fairness, confidentiality, and full compliance
  • Serve as the company-wide first point of contact for all Workday cases tagged for People Partner support: triage each case, route to the correct People Partner or internal team, and follow through to ensure nothing falls through the cracks (including rerouting cases that were mislabeled)
  • Own the end-to-end exit survey process for departing corporate employees administration, tracking, analysis, and follow-through partnering with People Ops to keep it integrated with offboarding
  • Analyze exit survey data to identify trends in attrition, employee experience, and organizational health; translate findings into actionable insights for People Partners and leadership
  • Support leaders and managers with guidance on People policies, processes, and employee lifecycle questions; prepare materials and documentation to support People Partners in leader conversations
  • Maintain accurate people data in Workday and partner with People Ops to ensure reporting integrity
  • Prepare reports and insights for People Partners and leaders to inform decisions around headcount, attrition, performance, and organizational health
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve People processes across Corporate, Field, and Member Support teams; partner with People Ops on workflow and documentation improvements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • 4-7+ years of progressive HR/People experience, ideally spanning HRBP, HR generalist, or employee relations roles or a meaningful combination
  • Proven experience managing employee relations investigations and case management with strong documentation discipline and sound judgment 3 Experience supporting both a commercial or revenue-driving team and a frontline or high-volume
  • Genuine comfort with operational execution: you don't see process work as beneath the role you see it as the foundation that makes strategic work possible
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; you track details, follow through, and close the loop without being asked
  • Solid working knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR compliance 3 Proficiency with Workday or a comparable HRIS; Workday experience strongly preferred 3 Analytical mindset: you use data to tell stories, spot trends, and make the case for action
  • Clear, direct communication style - you can calibrate for a Chief Commercial Officer conversation and a frontline employee conversation on the same day
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and change; you stay grounded when priorities shift and help others do the same
  • A collaborative orientation - you measure success by what the team accomplishes, not by what you can claim individually
  • Energized by the idea of growing into full strategic BP ownership - you see the operational foundation of this role as a launchpad, not a ceiling
