Lake City, FL is seeking a compassionate and motivated
Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapist with
pelvic health experience or a strong interest in pelvic health to continue developing their skills while treating patients with a variety of pelvic health and musculoskeletal conditions.
You will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans of care, and provide evidence-based treatment focused on improving function, mobility, quality of life, and overall well-being.
Candidates with previous pelvic health experience are preferred; however, we also welcome Physical Therapists who are interested in expanding their clinical expertise in this specialty.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with pelvic health and other musculoskeletal conditions
- Develop individualized plans of care based on clinical findings, patient needs, and goals
- Provide evidence-based pelvic health physical therapy treatments and interventions
- Educate patients regarding their condition, treatment plan, therapeutic exercises, and strategies for continued progress
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and members of the clinical team to support continuity of care
- Create a comfortable, respectful, and patient-centered environment, particularly when addressing sensitive pelvic health concerns
- Follow applicable professional, ethical, regulatory, and clinic standards
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current Florida Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Florida licensure
- Pelvic health physical therapy experience preferred
- Pelvic health training, coursework, or certifications are a plus
- Physical Therapists with a strong interest in developing expertise in pelvic health are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide compassionate care and communicate effectively regarding sensitive health concerns
- Commitment to high-quality, individualized patient care
- Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Desire to continue developing professionally and expanding clinical expertise
