Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist

Location: Fort Myers, FL
Position: Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist
Salary: $90,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Patient Volume: 1-2 patients per hour

Summary

We are hiring a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist for an outpatient role in Fort Myers, FL. This position is centered on helping patients manage pelvic pain, improve pelvic floor strength and coordination, recover after surgery or childbirth, and improve daily function.

The patient volume is 1-2 patients per hour, giving you time to complete thorough evaluations, explain care plans clearly, and guide patients through treatment without feeling rushed.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, pain, weakness, and related mobility concerns
  • Create individualized treatment plans based on each patient's condition and goals
  • Provide pelvic floor therapy, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional training
  • Educate patients on breathing, posture, body mechanics, home exercises, and self-care strategies
  • Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Document evaluations, treatment notes, progress updates, and discharge plans
  • Communicate with referring providers and care team members when appropriate
  • Maintain a private, respectful, and organized treatment environment

Requirements
  • Active Florida Physical Therapist License required
  • DPT Degree or MSPT Degree required
  • Outpatient experience required
  • Pelvic floor or pelvic health experience preferred
  • New graduates are welcome
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
