About the role:

As a Pega Quality Engineer Lead, you will work with Business/System Architect team members to design, implement and execute a test program to ensure application reliability and performance. Westinghouse Parts Business (WPB) Pega application is a business process management tool supporting our component delivery process.

You will report to the Sr. Manager, WPB Systems and Operations Strategy. This is a remote role that can be performed from anywhere in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating and executing comprehensive application testing strategies.
  • Developing, optimizing and maintaining a suite of test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of functional, regression, integration and performance scenarios.
  • Collaborating with the development team to manage defects, including monitoring the production environment and participating in documentation, prioritization and resolution.
  • Innovating and refining testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency in the testing process.
  • Providing guidance during user acceptance testing and providing support to end-users and business leaders
  • Maintaining awareness of Pega features, industry testing standards and emerging technologies and leading continuous improvement initiatives.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer/electrical/software engineering, information systems or other related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years focused on Pega applications.
  • Strong expertise with Pega platform and proven track record in testing Pega workflows, rules, and integrations.
  • Strong expertise with testing REST APIs and SOAP services for integrations with enterprise applications.
  • Strong experience with the design and implementation of a testing program, including creation and maintenance of reusable test scripts. Experience with advanced testing automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, JUnit, PegaUnit, etc.).
  • Pega CSA/CSSA Certification desired


We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $116,800.00 to $146,000.00 per year.
