Graduate of an accredited medical or osteopathic school
Current California medical license with DEA and CPR certification
Board Certification in Pediatrics
Passion for community-based healthcare
Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC (training provided)
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care to children from birth to young adulthood
Address physical, psychological, and social health maintenance and disease management
Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections and immunizations
Develop and implement patient management plans and document progress notes
Conduct medical chart reviews for follow-up and quality assurance
Counsel patients on health maintenance and therapeutic compliance
Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate with other healthcare providers
Adhere to productivity standards set by management
Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Reputable Community Healthcare Clinic is hiring a full and/or part time Pediatrician!

What you will do at AMC:
Provide care to children from birth through young adult with an in-depth knowledge and experience in pediatric primary health care including well child care and prevention/management of common pediatric acute illnesses and chronic conditions.
Meets the specialized healthcare needs of individuals from birth through young adulthood, including physical, psychological, and social concerns of children in the areas of health maintenance and promotion, and assessment and management of disease processes.
Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suture removal and would care, and managing infection.
Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
Assists in medical chart review for patient follow-up and quality assurance.
Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
Maintains adequate medical records on all patients, including follow-up referrals, and meet on a regular basis with the physician to go over charting and/or medical care provided.
Adheres to health center standards for productivity as defined by the Chief Medical Officer and senior management.
Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
The Pediatrician at Alliance Medical Center has the following qualifications and skills:
2+ years experience preferred
Graduate of an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy
Current California / Board eligible license to practice Pediatrics including DEA license and current CPR
Board Certification in Pediatrics
A passion for community based healthcare required
Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
EMR knowledge, EPIC preferred (training will be provided)
