Nemours Children's Health is seeking an Urgent Care Physician to join our expanding Urgent Care Network, serving both our Glen Mills, Pennsylvania and North Wilmington, Delaware locations.

We're looking for talented, passionate physicians to join us on the journey to better health for children. This position requires travel and regular clinical coverage at both our Glen Mills, PA and North Wilmington, DE Urgent Care locations. Providers will work a combination of weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of the Urgent Care schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests.
  • Obtain, compile, and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes, and results of physical examinations.
  • Interpret diagnostic test results and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, including injections, suturing, wound care, fracture splinting, incision and drainage, and foreign body removal.
  • Make provisional diagnoses and clinical management decisions.
  • Prescribe medications and other therapies as appropriate.
  • Educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.
