How You'll Make an Impact- Pediatric care: Provide well-child visits, same-day sick visits, and follow-ups, performing age-appropriate histories and exams and assessing growth and development.
- Diagnosis & treatment: Order and interpret pediatric diagnostics and develop treatment plans under clinical protocols.
- Prevention & immunizations: Administer and counsel on immunizations and preventive care guidelines.
- Family education & screening: Educate parents and guardians on nutrition, sleep, milestones, and safety, and screen for developmental, behavioral, and psychosocial concerns, coordinating referrals as needed.
- Tech-enabled documentation: Document care in the EMR with AI tools and support quality improvement focused on pediatric outcomes.
Requirements- NYS PA license + NCCPA certification
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- EMR experience and strong HIPAA knowledge
- FMCSA certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months
- DEA preferred or willingness to obtain
- Preferred: 1+ year primary/urgent care; bilingual English/Spanish
